Powering & Pausing – High Performance Without Burnout

The Heidelberg-based publishing house Edition Essentials stands for books with real added value. Their guide “Powering & Pausing” shows how people can maintain long-term performance without sacrificing quality of life. The authors – Dr. med. Frank, former handball professional Henning Fritz, and Olympic fencing champion Daniel Strigel – combine medical expertise, management know-how, and experience from elite sports into a practical, real-world concept.

When in-store book sales stagnated during the COVID-19 pandemic, the publisher sought new ways to successfully market its bestseller. The goal was to increase awareness and expand sales through digital channels.

Werbeagenten developed a targeted social media campaign across Meta channels (Facebook and Instagram). At its core was a performance strategy that directed interested users straight to the Edition Essentials online shop. The result: with minimal advertising costs, tens of thousands of users were reached, hundreds of additional books were sold, and the publisher’s online presence was strengthened. Thanks to its success, the campaign model was repeated several times after the lockdown – each time with impressive results.
