Gustav Ida Nordpol – Handcrafted Gin from Heidelberg

With the creation of the gin Gustav Ida Nordpol, Werbeagenten – together with experienced partners from the beverage industry – ventured into new territory. The goal was to demonstrate the potential of merchandise and brand development through the example of a premium spirit. Regional and international botanicals were processed using traditional gin distillation methods and personally refined by the founding team. At the same time, Werbeagenten developed the brand identity: “G.I.N.” serves as an acronym for Gustav Ida Nordpol, and both the design of the cube-shaped bottle and the label were entirely created by the agency.
Accompanying social media campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) were launched to build the brand, increase awareness, and give this fine spirit a distinctive identity in the highly competitive gin market. The project was a complete success: within a very short time, the first batch sold out in regional retail stores, followed by a second batch with equally strong sales.
Since the sell-out of the last batch, the campaign has been paused but can be reactivated at any time for future production runs. With Gustav Ida Nordpol, Werbeagenten once again demonstrates that passion for enjoyment, creativity, and brand building go hand in hand – a tradition that is also evident in other projects such as the agency’s book and gourmet editions.
